On our way to Eve's birthday party yesterday, we came upon a joke of the day... In a taxi.

Grace, XT, ZQ and I took the taxi there. On our way there, the radio was on and there was a game. The game goes like this: Listen to a short story and then answer a question.

So the short story goes... There was a smoker husband who doesn't quit no matter what. His wife came up with a plan - that she will save the exact amount of money he spent on smoking and tally it at the end of the year. So when she brought out the saving, the husband realized that he could save up to over 1k if he never smoked. So he quit. The following year the husband asked the wife how much had she saved, and she replied none, because he had quit smoking.

Initially, we were wondering, since it's a game on the radio, the questions asked should be related to the short story told. But then.. the question stumped all of us (at least the 3 of us sitting at the rear). The question asked by the DJ was, "Madam, how many times did you hear the knocking of the doors?"

Our reactions were uniform. "HAR?" LOL! We couldnt hear any knocking on the doors (but actually there were). Interesting game... It diverts the listener's attention with the story and then asked something completely out of the blue and irrelevant expecting an answer. :P

That was the joke of the day... we couldnt hear the knockings when there was actually knocking of the door. XD Very interesting indeed.
