Rented a beach house in Second Life... my first apartment in Second Life after 2 yrs of playing the game. Never saw the need to get one, because I don't really put much time into SecondLife. But finally, I succumb to peer pressure.

All my friends in SL had a place of their own, and I had saved enough money to get myself a decent one, of my choice. Asked around, browsed around, scouted around and finally settled for a beach house.

It's not much, but it's 2 storeys with an ocean view. The furniture were simple and cozy enough for my avatar. Shouldn't dwell on it much anyway, don't have to think too much either. If it's big and good enough for me, it's good enough for me.

It also gave me an excuse to log into SL, besides the music. Speaking of Music, purchased Louis Landon's music score sheets... which was amazing. He warned me: It's complicated and gotta be a good reader to play those pieces.

I get his idea once I flipped through the 2 books and tried some pieces. Bad news, I need time for each piece. Good news, I managed to nail my favourite song without any help in just under 2 days. ^_^

Whew...... I never had picnic for a long long long long long time... You get my drift. And been looking forward to this picnic with Miki. Cos' we planned it quite a long time ago.

So anyway, we split the job of preparation... and we ended up with Sandwiches of a few variety and chips with salsa dips and a surprise for Miki (pudding made my moi)....... Took MRT to Habour Front, took taxi up to Mount Faber The Jewel Stone and then hiked up abt 1km to our final destination.

It was scorching hot, but we had the wind in our faces and our hair. I looked totally like a madwoman with my hair all over my face. =.- But it was cooling, not too hot. The best part? NO RAIN!!!!!! ^_^ The thing that kills picnic is the same thing that kills BBQ... Rain. So no rain today was amazing for us.

Took alot of self-shots pictures, why waste the moment? Also took videos of sandwich making, like I've said. The afternoon was so fun and so cool. Literally. There were wind blowing while we were eating and chatting away, which at one point of time blew the ants around us onto the picnic mat! :O

And we became the ants killers. Normally I wouldn't go around smacking ants for no darn reason, but then today they were too much! In numbers and also... How could they steal out food!?!?!

Hahahas, but then we witnessed the funeral and the sentimental side of ants. The bodies of the dead ants were being sort of "surrounded" by other ants, and the way the other ants walked one round around the DB and moved on, it's like how we humans do. It was pretty cool.

Then we hiked down from Henderson Waves(our destination), across the bridge. It was so humid by then we put on sunscreen and i opened my umbrella, which made me look so 'Auntie'... But then I rather look auntie than get sunburn. LOLZ!

By the time we reached the bottom of the track, it was evening. And time for dinner.

Well, that's another story! ;) But I totally enjoyed the dinner, just as it should be. ^^

Leftover food from the BBQ, what do you do? Throw them in the fridge and set another date for another round of BBQ! That's what we did. And it was even more fun than the first. I guess the numbers play a part, and the people involved play another part. Still same venue, the patio provided a great area for in-house BBQ, and the weather played a vital role.

It was raining like crazy during the 1st BBQ so we had to move the pit here and there while BBQ-ing! Totally kills the mood. The 2nd time was great, no rain but sun and a clear night sky. Very romantic. =)

Poeple always say "the more the merrier". To a degree I do agree, but then when it comes to family BBQ, that does not apply. Cos' in my opinion, the more people, the food gotta be served as soon as possible. And that totally kills the mood and purpose of BBQ...to do it slow and let the charcol flavours the food to maximum peak.

The second time it was different.... we really slowed down the pace, slowly eat, slowly BBQ-ed, and we took turns so everyone could eat something. Cept for my uncle who stood by the grill, but we had food for him so he wasn't left out.

And the food choices were not that much this time: Satays, chicken wings(by my grams), otah, sambal sotong and prawns, saussages, marshmallow, taiwan saussages, sweet corn, sweet potatoes and fry mee by my aunt. And it was really fun just having these few food, and with the tables not so cramped with stuff. Kikapo was finished in mere minutes.. hehes. But what the heck, we have ice water later on, which was healthier than a soft drink. LOLZ! Can't expect too much 'healthy' things with the BBQ fire burning on.

And the numbers played a part... Y? Cos we literally slowed down and chatted while we eat, and not quickly shoved the food in our mouths and went inside to clear space for others. And also, not so many people, the pace of the food was constant and not too fast. Flavours could really get inside the food, and we don't have to rush through it. Cos when there's no more food we just sat down and chatted with drinks in our hands or just sit around and had a great time until there're food again.

Of course Wii was part of the package deal. But we played Mario cart, and the adults they played bowling while the rest of us chatted or read storybooks. I could see that my grams was having a great time there, which was our top priority. No doubt. =)

Wonderful evening, gotta take a break and then let's have another go! -giggles-

LOADS of outings lined up for my empty schedule... Perhaps it's a good thing to put my feet up and just relax before tedious college life starts...

Sakae, K-Box, Dinner with sec sch clique & mrs lee, Sakura, maybe even BBQ. Whew~

My stories... forever stuck at the crossroad of life. In what context? For each and every story I've written, I'm stuck at the point where I have to decide which direction to bring my story to. Each ending will bring on a different feel to the story, so the choice? Was never made. But some of the times it's that I suddenly ran into a brick wall and had a hige bump on my head to hinder in my thoughts.

Perhaps it IS time to bring my stories to an end. No way can I mix them up, because the ideas for each story is different. "Power X-Treme: 1st Generation", "The Winchesters", "The Royals", "Danger Line"... Haix

SL still remains rocking for me. Stopped for about half a year and now I've returned from the 'dead' and I'm alive!!!! It's a great feeling. To be able to attend and enjoy gigs by the talents around the world.
Wouldn't mind degrading to a "Concierge" from "Manager". Ain't got enough time to handle both RL and SL so I'm still grateful. SLNE remained a home to me on SL, and despite my MIA acts, it welcomes me back with open arms and I'm still being missed. ^_^ It's a great feeling, knowing that people in SLNE(all over the world) are so great people.
There may be a small portio of people around the world that aren't categorized as "good", but there's a large portion of them under that category. It's not because we don't know them or if we're from different countries that we can't be friends. Even if you've never met the people in real life, but through SL, let's face it, it's one of the best ways to connect to people outside your home, town, city, country, continents.
One of my favourite quotes (which I put it into one of my songs): "Strangers are just friends whom we haven't met".

Valentine's day coming in about a week's time. My heart is set on a man but the life remains an empty one. it'll never be filled up unless we both hold on or we both let go. Setting my heart on 1 person who's not here really kills any chance of a date. Hahahahas! But I'll still hold on, until the day comes for us to let go.

BBQ was a blast and was it hot!

Arrived at 4.15pm to help out and chill out. Then came the fire starting of the BBQ "pit". Whew, standing a few feet away and I could still feel the heat emitted from the burning charcoals.

Did some of the BBQ-ing, and ate as I did. Mostly I did the satays and the sweet corns and sweet potatoes. In the beginning I did some, then I sat down and have my share of food before stationing myself beside the pit for the rest of the dinner... Serving the whole family.

Lurve BBQ, so that's what I did, to do the cooking. Seriously, what's the use of BBQ if you just sit around and get served by people? It totally defeats the purpose of having a BBQ in the first place!

Had chicken wings, satays, otahs, asam squids and asam prawns, sweet corn and sweet potatoes. Bei nian also fried a big plate of bee hoon to go along with all these food, plus loads of drinks coming endlessly.

The whole session started from 5+ and ended at around 9+... Thereafter was tea session (compliments from my aunt n uncle who owns a chinese teahouse), together with the same aunt's cakes. It was heaven~ Leftover charcols were used to boil the water for the tea brewing. Somehow it tasted better... Maybe it has something to do with the charcols, maybe it doesn't have any relation at all, but the family togetherness. ^^

Played Wii as well... with my cousins, and used the pc and watched videos on youtube, and also star gazing (w/o the stars) with the adults (while my sis n cuz were playing Wii w/o me) LOLZ!

Something I heard which I thought to be most appropriate:
Man A who has money left for him when he grows old, is the most lonely man on the planet, compared to Man B who is poor and all but left of him is a tea pot and tea cups. Because with the money, that's all Man A is left with. But with the tea pot and the tea cups, Man B can build relationships using them.
Money can't buy everything. What money can't buy, those are the most precious things in the world. What money can buy, those are the most common things in the world.
Rather lived a poor man but with friendship, kinship and love, than to live a rich man with nothing but cold hard cash.
~I totally agree~
~Indefinately~

Once in a lifetime, means there's no second chance.
So I believe that you and me, should grab it while we can.

These words rang through my ears, my heart, my mind, my soul and I truly believed in each and every word.

We're not given a second chance if we missed the first, that hardly ever happens. Seizing the day is all that matters, and living it to the fullest. Even when it comes to decision-making, make one that you will not regret and will be able to live with it for the rest of your life. Even for love.

So my mind's made up to do the one thing that I felt is the most important in my life. Even if the results isn't what I longed for, at least I've passed through the gate of conscience in my part.

I'M GONNA MISS MY 3D02 DARLINGS DEARLY........

Last day was packed with fun and laughter. And while we're celebrating, taking all sorts of pictures and having delicious food, we see people around us studying. But we continued our fun. A lil bad, but I truly believed WE'VE EARNED IT!

Sem2 just went past us in a blink of an eye... probably because of IEP, so time really flies. It seems only yesterday that we're still Year1, and now our poly life has come to an end. Technically speaking it's nt yet cos we still have a few mths to go b4 we get our cert. But still, lessons already ended, so it's kinda the end.

Made delicious food with Jennifer, Wendy and Joanne @ my place, and i think all 4 of us felt a deep sense of satisfaction when the whole class cleaned off the tuperwares! XD And we took loads of crazy photos and candid shots, compliments to Mrs Tian who just snapped w/o giving us the usual "1,2,3"... Hahahahas! It was fun, nonetheless. Added more spice to our afternoon party after her class(final one).

The frozen grapes were the greatest hit among the food, followed by the chocolate coated strawberries, marshmallows and grapes, then come my cheesecake. I didn't really like the frozen peach though, it wasn't that nice....

3D02 went totally wild today, and will still continue to be wild after grad... Wildly keeping in touch ^_^ 3 years from strangers to best friends and classmates.... A strong friendship bond was forged, and some were as close as families (like my 4 god-sisters and me) HAHAHHAZ~

Amazing way to end off year 3, with tons of outings here n there before we go on our seperate ways. It'll be harder to meet once we start working or studying or both. But I'm sure we'll always find time to bond. Maybe nt as a class, but amongst ourselves. ^_^

Kudos to 3D02, the strongest and united class in the world!!!!!!

Spaghetti, Cheesecake, Frozen fruits, Chocolate coated fruits and marshmallows.... YUMMY!!!!!

Spent the whole entire half day with Jennifer, Joanne and Wendy at my place. We started off with spaghetti (cooked by the 4 of us), and that's for our lunch. The we set off to create awesome finger food (Except for the cheese cake).

Made a new kind of cheese cake, diff from my usual one, cos I ike the bake cheese cake more, personally. Lucky gt the recipe from my aunt, so baked them with them.

Had alot of fun playing with the food and fruits and chocolate!!! CHOCOLATES!! We lurve chocolates!!! Kept getting ourselves covered with chocolates when we dipped the things into the melted dark and luscious chocolate and tried getting them to dry off without falling apart or sticking onto one another.

=D Awesome time, seriously.

A lil downside.....haiz.... cheesecake again. Rather not talk about it, but it just gave me the whole uncomfortable feeling looking at the hole =.=lllllllll

Why is this always happening to my cheesecake???
Why is she always the 1st person to try everything!?!?!?!
ON PURPOSE!?!?!?!?
ARGH!?!?!?!???!??!?!!

No time or ingredients to make a new one. I'm so exhausted~ But then, lucky the good memories are more than the bad one. (note: bad one, but good memories) ;)

Trapped in spheres of illusions.
Clouded by spheres of temptations.

It's not good to have too many choices set out for you.
Deep down inside I want to make the right choice, but right now I don't know what's the right choice.

What if... I get accepted for 2? Which should I choose?
1. My passion in that area but having a fixed straight course of work life ahead.
2. My interest in that area with a few routes set out for me in the future.

Passion and Interest are what drives me to do my best in whatever I'm doing.
How can I choose between these two when they are interlinked in someway?
