It was torturous waking up at 6.30am. I needed the sleep, seriously... But it was really worth the wait.

Been there since 8.20am and ended at 3.30pm... In the middle went for an NTU talk. Not sure what to do after the talk, just went there to listen. No harm listening, and it was shun4 lu4 from the little nyonya thank you roadshow. Same place with just a 5+ mins walk. ^_^

Saw Jeanette, duh, and other artists. Shook hands with them and took a group photo. Lucky we were in front, cos we rushed all the way from Suntec to Radio Gate. =) But then, don't have to rush that fast, cos' we literally waited for her for about 1.5hrs.......

Then at the handshake thing there was this aunti at the back that started cursing when we lifted the boards up. HELL-NO? You want a good view, come early. We came as early as 7.45am(2 of the fc) to get in line. The aunti seriously something wrong up there *points to temple* Very b****y... Kept scolding us "king eight egg"(in mandarin) =.=lll We just ignored her, but then come to think of it now, she's really losing it~

We seriously sped to Mediacorp and then we were so bored at radio gate.. did TONS of crazy photo taking to past the time... Even during the lining up for the handshaking... Hahaha!

Chatted with her, took pic with her, let her signed stuffs and also made her giggle (with the video we made during the lining up). It was hilarious, and even we felt it too!

Totally tired and exhausted and my eyes are bleary... But then seeing her made all the exhaustion fade away. =D Awesome stuff Jeanette~

Happy 'Niu' (New) Year Everyone! ^_^

Great '09... and same reunion dinner at Grams house. A lil different though, wore something other than a blouse and jeans... Wore a blouse n jeans n a belt (across the blouse). A new look for the new year.

And another different thing... this year we went to Liquid Kitchen (the cousins) for some experiences..... all 6 of us.

I had sex on the beach! After wanting it for so long, I finally had it. And it was pretty ok for me, but I felt it could be slightly stronger.

Quite a number of drinks.... and it is a new experience for us to be at the lounge. None of us had been in there b4 but kept passing by, and it's just near my Grams house.

CNY is a time for us to go wild, so that was what we did... But thanks to Dad who came and get the bill for us instead of ourselves...

Good experience with my cousins n sis n dad(came for a drink and the bills and chats). Wanted to go lounge for my b-day celebration, now, all I want is J.Co's coffee house at Bugis. That is more of my place compared to the lounge and pub and bar ambience.

As much as I like to try cocktails and wine, I'd prefer to have coffee and tea with my friends on birthdays or just for chats. =)

These are one of the days when I really feel like flying over to Belgium and having a shoulder to cry on. When I feel the strong arms enfolding me and listening to the soothing voice with accent, telling me that it's ok to cry and just relax for once.

IEP poster presentation is taking the toll out of me... So many things to do, so little time... And it's the final major proj before CNY... Of cos has to end with a bang(good bang nt bad bang).

It's time for sacrificing sleep, sacrificing shoulder, sacrificing other stuffs(except assignments).
It's time to multi-task.
It's not the time to go to bed when the clock strikes a certain time when you still have things left unfinished.
It's not the time to take things slowly and do it step by step.
Even beautification can be done with speed yet with quality.

Slow and steady not always means winning the race, sometimes it gets on people's nerves, especially when the deadlines are pending and there are rehearsals to be done and board to be made in just 1 day.

Totally stressed and really cried, really did have tears welling up in my eyes. But still, tilting the head back and swallowing back the tears instead of letting it stream down my cheeks. What's the use of crying when it's going to strain your eyes. You still gotta get things done, with or without tired eyes. I'll vote w/o any time.

Bugis bugis.... that's our usual hang out place. Previously, saw this western jap restaurant with great ambience (from the outside), today finally set foot into the place.

Very unique... has the lounge feeling, dim lightings, wine displays, and even a bar table. But instead of the bartender standing behind the bar table, it was the chefs. Anyway... there r tables and chairs all around the place. Quite cozy little place.

Stayed there till about 9.... took tons of pictures. The food was quite alright. I'll go back again for the ambience.... Cos I'm a fan of low lightings, very romantic. The food wise, hm, I wanna try the wine though... maybe someday.

Haha... still havent talk about the food yet. It was gd, the variety was limited though. Can't expect much really....... Every place has its own pros and cons.

Pretty cool.... Good dinner, loads of fun and laughter even though only 3 instead of the usual 4, instead of the usual usual 6. Sheesh.......... numbers getting smaller!?!?

Arcade time... last arcade before Val steps into adulthood.... And I almost won a PS3! I was 4 blocks away from the PS3... -Shrug- O'well..... taht's that.

Overall it was gd times, gd times, gd times.... Would be even more crazy and over the top if there were more.... But gotta admit, 3's a pretty cozy number (the mixed ic-cream also came in 3 scoops) =)

I'm inflexible and totally rigid. I admit it. I don't like it when things are done last min... ESP things like SCHOOL!?!?!?!?!

Tue is what I look forward to... a relaxing outing with Miki dear, Hui and Val to cel Val's 21st b-day. Gotta be crazy, gotta totally relax and de-stress!

Cramped assignment due dates...

Looking at the list of assignments due in January and early Feb made my heard hurts. But when I think of my poly year coming to an end once all assignments are handed up, I felt relief and a little sad.

Right now cramming as many things as possible, completing the assignments (indiv and grp). For individual, nobody can help me but myself. But for the grp assignments, it's a good thing I have amazing team members.

Counting down the assignment due dates as the e-learning week comes to an end day by day.

Went to my fav hang out spot in SG... Airport. I love going there, and nv missed a chance to. And not yesterday's chance as well.

We were planning to surprise Jeanette at the airport when her plane touched the ground. And we did. So we met up at about 9 and we talked and 'strategized' how to actually surprise her. In the end, we decided to split ourselves up into about 4 grps: 1 grp fetching her, and 3 other grps scattered around the meeting area.

The grp that was supposed to meet her first actually looked around after we got into position. And they're reaction was that we were good at what we were doing, they couldn't see us in the crowd.

Then we saw her in flesh and blood. She looked amazing and stunning, a new kind of beauty compared to the New Year's Countdown Party. =) A hang signal and all of us crowded around her and greeted her with "Hi" and "Surprise". Small chats were made, and when there was this awkward silence, I cut in a qns for her, "Were you surprised?" And she replied, "Yes." Pretty amazing, to be able to talk to her.

Of cos, pic were taken and all of us brought something for her to sign. For me n my sis, we each brought a bk by her fav author. Just so happens that I had this bk even before I knew it was her fav author. So quite cool =)

It was amazing, and an unreal adventure. 2009 is turning into one mega great year for me, in my book. ^_^

Woke up at 8am, and stayed up till 3.30am, but it's all worth it!

Met up with the rest of the Jeaniuses at abt 2+pm at Vivo for the ocuntdown party. Mosh Pit seats tix baby! Thx to Jeanette & her PA & eudora ^_^

We said goodbye to 2008 and crossed over to the year 2009 with Jeanette. It was an amazing experience, too much to be put into words. If I were to say the whole day event it would be the longest entry ever.

Saw Jeanette upclose and personal, held the board and cheered for her and XNR team during the games, wished her 'Happy New Year' over the phone, got to make a video with the Jeaniuses(my sis included) and send to Jeanette. And when we gt home, we got to chat with her on the forum (adding replies to the topic) till abt 3.30am.

She was hyper, we were hyper and we didn't manage to feel sleepy until 3+am. We logged off when Jeanette wanted to get some Zzz. ^_^

It was simply indescribable feeling. She's as real as anybody and all the artists looked amazing in person than on screen, esp Jeanette. =) Phew....

I almost lost my hearing temporary with the whistling and cheering and shouting and the music blasted from the speakers. The vol was so loud that my heart beat suddenly took on the rhythm of whatever songs the artists were singing and playing (esp the base and electric guitar and the drums).

Loved all the performance and the feeling of being there for the countdown beats the feeling of watching the show in the comfort of one's own home. Nt really crowded, but it was intensive. ^^
