Went out to shop today. Heard alot of quotes from dad about "successful people and not successful people". Quotes that he came up with, and me and sis came up with a few as well.

And there was this quote he mentioned, it was one of the watch company's slogan or something.... And it lodged in my mind.

It's in Chinese and it goes like this: 偶尔一个人是一种享受,常常一个人是一种寂寞
In English, it means: Sometimes being alone is a kind of enjoyment, but if it happens often, it's loneliness.

I do agree.

Revision lesson was fun! :) It was more like tuition rather than small group.. cos only 2 students turned up. 1 went back to Korea. The other 2 who was supposed to turn up didnt. I thought my lesson was gonna be quite tight, esp if the new student were to join in. But then I only have to work with 2 of my usual students so I'm glad. Kinda.

Stayed up late yesterday till 2.30am just to figure out 3 different games for my students for their revision. Hm, not too bad... managed to carry out all 3 games within 2 hours. And boy am I proud of them! The revision paper I don't have to guide them along and they just fill in the blanks and match and read. WOW! =D The pride and joy of being a teacher!

Supposed to have buffet, but then I only gt the info of 'no buffet' before my class started. =.= Aw shucks! I was really looking forward to the buffet dinner with grams and bei nian they all...... :(

Morning at Circle Line opening event was alright. Went there to support our idol, not the event. Sad to say I'm not into the event at all. I'm happy for having an extra MRT line for us to use, but the opening...... could be better. It felt like using that venue to further promote Perenakan culture. Again. Seemed to have over done everything. And this event did not give us much opportunity to cheer... =(

Overall Saturday was ok, but very tiring... No sleep at all since 8am all the way to 6+pm(10+hrs), with only 5+hrs of sleep on Friday night (Saturday morning). Totally smashed~

Yosh! X-Men Origin:Wolverine is still airing for me. ^_^ Totally on cloud 9!

Somehow I seem to find back the sudden flame to continue with my story. Cool~

Learning Louis' music was amazing! Even if I'd stopped my music lessons, I still do and will always love piano!

3 hours of cuddling and snuggling brought us closer~ Loved beyond description~

Parcel is almost complete... just need a few last min magic touch of TLC before it's ready for "departure" :p

Hooked on Yugioh once again while waiting for Katekyo Hitman Reborn anime to be uploaded. XD Seems like I'm back to my childhood days, lol!

Chinese tuition officially ended this coming Saturday (30th May)..... For Term 1! Term 2 starting on July 4th. As psyched as my students that I'll still be teaching them~ ^_^

Happy that my chinese students are interested in my dad's book (written in Eng & Chi). =) Couldn't be happier! =) And proud of what they've learnt for the past 9 lessons! My big kids have grown up!

Just caught Night @ the Museum 2 about 7 hours ago. Not too bad, pretty hilarious and entertaining. Caught it with my sis, which was good, cos it's been long since we both caught movies together.

But I really need to prioritize my movies selection lol! I watched I've watched 17 Again, I've watched Star Trek and I've watched Night @ The Museum 2. BUT I haven't watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine. & this was suppose to be on my "have to watch" list cos of Hugh Jackman.

*shakes head helplessly* I have to catch it soon, on Monday. Hopefully it's still airing, which I have a feeling it's ended by this week......

O'well, getting the VCD anyway, so gonna wait for the VCD to come out, along with 17 Again VCD & Star Trek's DVD. That's another priority problem I have to settle...... =.=lll My idol's show and I'm getting a VCD, but a sci-fi show (when I'm not a sci-fi fan) I'm getting the DVD. Hahahahahhahahaha~

Brain check on asile ten! LOL! XD

Random post once again~ I have nothing to do when I turn on my pc. After my "usual routine" I'm left with nothing to do. When thinking of what to do, or waiting for something to happen, that IS torture! LOLZ!

Singapore Indoor Stadium! I haven't been there since god-knows-when. The musical was amazing... Hilarious and very very entertaining~ ^_^ We were laughing throughout the entire musical. The music was good(English, Chinese, Malay), the singing was pretty good and the plot was, well.... I knew about the plot even before I watched it, cos it was all over magazines. But still, nice story, with a happy ending. But a little dramatic towards the end :p

After the end of the show was meet-the-cast. Before that we were goofing around, and yep, it was fun. I think I need new adjectives to describe. LOL! =D It was amazing that 8 people could actually signed on a small slip of ticket, haha... :)

Not bad, I didn't regret getting the tix! I listened to my heart, and other opinions. ^_^ The party celebration with a good friend after that was also fun. Dad drove the 4 of us home (me, sis, b-day gal, another friend) from Singapore Indoor Stadium. Felt a little bad when Dad stopped quite far away from her house, but at least both of them reached home safe and sound. :)

Very tired and sleepy, and then stumbled upon my friend on FB =) Of course then came the chatting.... Next stop: Bed.

Not a fan of Sci-Fi. The last time I read a Sci-Fi book was Star Trek when I was young, less than 12 years old, more than 10 years ago. I never picked up another sci-fi book again, nor seen any sci-fi movie...

But Star Trek was simply amazing! ^_^ The one and only sci-fi that caught my attention with its trailer, as well as the real deal itself: When the lights are low, the cool breeze [from the air-conditioning] blows. And also for another reason.;)

I was amazed by the way the movie was portrayed. I've read reviews, I've seen the trailer and I'm really glad that it lived up to all the reviews that I've read. I'd forgotten about the story that I've read 10 years ago... I only remembered Patrick Stewart was still in Star Trek then, cos his face was on the story book cover page. Long time ago.

The effects of this Sci-Fi movie was really something! Wow! I totally forgot about the thirst and my eyes were glued to the wide movie screen. Never did once did my eyes wander around. I had to keep watching, like the story, the characters, the plot, the effects were all sucking me in. Exhiliarating! It was raining outside so I was shivering in cold, but the cold was managable. It really brought you into that story with the characters! WHOA!

1st Sci-Fi movie and I love it! =D I wouldn't mind watching it for the 2nd or even 3rd time. I can't believe I'd say that about a movie that's categorized under 'Sci-Fi', esp when such movies were not on my watchlist: Romance, Comedy, Action.

This is another show which I'll be getting the DVD. I only have a few DVDs --> Ironman, Hairspray & Twilight. Can't wait to add Star Trek to that list :)

It's been so long since I've felt like this. The chills that you send in me.

Not talking about people, but of my newest book collection --> The Watcher by Brian Freeman

Really long time since I've picked up a book; read the back of the book; flipped a few pages and had hairs standing on my arms. Nothing to do with Kinokuniya's air-conditioning. LOL~ Was getting something at the bookstall, and chanced upon this book under "Bestseller". Picked it up and never put it down (except @ the counter when making payment).

This is the kind of book that I like:
- The title is common but intriguing.
- The plot has a twist to it in a way that you were caught off-tracked.
- The way the author wrote the book - It's like he doesn't have to describe everything in details, just bits and pieces here and there and it's enough to get you hooked.
- The suspense you read and felt and the 'coincidence' you read thinking that 'This has to be the guy' when your guess turned out to be completely wrong.
- You can never guess who's the prep until almost the end of the story.

The saying when we used to write in our essay when we felt fear or something... "Chills went down my spine", never happened. LOL! :P Haahahahas, from so many thriller books I've read, there wasn't any chills down my spine. There were more of "hair standing at the back of my hands" or "goosebumps all over me". Never down the spine.

My preference in books differ from people. Told my sis about this feeling I had for the book and she called me crazy. *shrug* Hahahaha, not many really like thrillers, just like I'm not into her preference of books. =)

The last time I wore a graduation gown was when I was 6 years old.. graduating from childcare centre going onto Primary 1. Hahahha.. it's been a LONG TIME! Lol~

Graduation today was amazing, but very draining. Couldn't wake up, almost. Wore a skirt and caused a hearse! LOL!!! XD Apparently it's "big news" that I wore a skirt. :p Hahahahhaha... Made a promise to do so, so will do it and I did it. :) Not bad actually... just the heels.

One reason I don't wear skirt much is because you can't go with sport shoes/sneakers... Office wear skirt and any other kind of skirt is different from NPCC skirt, which could go alone with sports shoes. Heels, not so much of a deal today, still not used to it. :P

Lucky I didn't fall when I walked up and down the stage. Heard the steps were steep, turned out to be just dandy. Hahaha, I literally heave a sigh of relief with I walked down the stage w/o losing my balance and not walking like a duck :p

Celebration with half of the class, not my clique. Went to Alumni for lunch and then Island Creamery for some ice-cream. Yummy yum yum! :) Spammed my cam like nobody's business.... Now everyone knows where I got my photography skills from: My mom. She's been a dear to be my personal photographer today, taking photos of me and my friends and teachers. THANKS MOM, LOVE YOU~ <3 <3

Exhausted, tired, sleepy... wished I could just lie down on my bed and sleep through the night till morning. Tml gotta work.... gotta change my lesson again... Thought could sleep longer and go for my lesson in the evening... O well~

It was fun, to be attached at my class once again, now that they're in K1. =) Not so much of drama happening during work, just the usual.

I thought that May could be a month for me to take a break before sch starts in June... O'well.. Still not very used to getting up at 7am in the morning, gotta get used to it. Not used to sleeping before 12mn, gotta get used to it. It's like a total flip of my "holiday schedule"!

Next week probably gotta help out again, and I told them "okay, cept for thurs"... I said "Okay" for this week and totally forgot about my Thurs committment...even if I wanted to stop it soon. I guess it shows how 'significant' it is in my heart. =.=lll

Looking forward to Friday night =)
In the meantime, looking forward to my FB inbox everyday. LOL! ;)

Even in the restroom you can have a good laugh ;) No kidding, I'm dead serious....

At the airport, after dinner, in the restroom. I overhead a phone conversation, in a cubicle. I wouldn't go into details about the conversation. The thing is that the volume was WAY loud, and I predict she was around 50+ maybe, and the person at the other line should be around teens... Cos whatever the lady said, I had something to rebut, which was similar to what the other person replied (from what I heard from the lady's reaction)...
Example:
Lady, "Why did you switch your phone to silent mode? Switch it back to ringing now."
Person on the other line said something & I thought to myself, "How to switch it back to ringing now when you're talking on the phone now?"
Lady, "When I put down the phone, you immediately switch it back to ringing."
See what I mean? :p

And you know that you're too agitated when you started blaming a non-livin thing instead of yourself...
Example:
Lady, "Tell me where you are now? Can't you understand what I'm asking and just answer?"
Person on the other line said something
Lady, "I'm not the loud one, it's the phone that's loud."
=X *Laugh*

Okay...besides these, there're still more. It lasted for a few minutes, with a bit of incoherence here and there. I couldn't help but share with my sis. At first when I heard it first-hand, there wasn't much of laughing, but when I related it to someone else, I couldn't help but laugh. I know... a bit bad... But I just can't help it.

Anyway, the trip to the airport was amazing, but long. Tiring too, but something to laugh at the end of dinner... So not too bad :) Brought something from Candy Empire, made in Germany. I couldn't resist... What to do when I can't sneak a plane on Germany? ;) Hehehehehehs~ Besides, Miki dear pointed out to me that it was good. Which it was! =D

It was something like ferrero roche :) It's called Ferrero Giotto. Nicer than ferrero roche :p It tasted like the ferrero roche in silver packaging, not the gold one. Probably why I love Ferrero Giotto so much, cos the taste was very smiliar... But hard to get the silver packaging ferrero roche now anymore :( *sads*

The talk about sandwich in the middle of the night(yesterday) made me craved for it. What happens next? Whipped up a sandwich dinner tonight! ^_^

Tried it with beef, that was for lunch (i think last month or something). But now it's dinner. And 2 ppl doesnt eat beef. NO PORK! So...... Chicken! =D

It was pretty alright, just the right serving for all of us (3)... Stacked up pretty tall and got a lil glitched when toasting to melt the cheese - My burger actually came off! =.=lll Should have stuck a toothpick in the middle to secure all the things... O'well... Next time I'll know~ :)

Yummy... A change to my usual dinner which is Chinese food. I love Chinese food, but occasionally throwing in Western or Italian suits me just fine too! Haha..apparently my sis got tired of chinese food every single night like I did. :p

My dinner~
Can't see the chicken pattie cos it's hidden between LAYERS of veg and that slice of cheese.
But it's there =) Topped with a cold glass of green bean and barley ;)

Went for our JUS CCA Field trip! ;) Lingo amongst the Jeanius.

Anyway, it was fun and it was enjoyable. Quite a rush, rushing from Tamp Mall to Marina Square. :) Good experience too! =)
Finally we had the chance to really "chase the star" from one venue to another. Hehehes XD

But all these made me missed my friend on FB again. =( have to start coordinating timing... Esp during the weekends. Though we're on the same wavelength at times, and being telepathic at times, coordinating time is seriously an issue. LOL!

Setting aside time Next Sat. Thank god for Vesak Day, and I've cleared my schedule so it's just gonna be me and my pc for the entire day (focus more on late afternoon till night time). Total relaxation w/o piano lesson(changed date) nor tuition(hol cos centre close). ^_^ Yipee~

Shopping for Graduation... Not bad... :) Good news I can hog the cam on Graduation cos' by then the camera will be back from China. ^_^ Even better.... Cos besides Grad, there're a few more occasions when that camera needs to be in my hands... So I can spam it! Muahahahahha =D

The recent Swine Flu got on my nerves... I don't even feel that strongly against SARS... Probably cos I have friends over at areas where it was being affected: Germany, New York, Australia... Friends from SL. Even so, I can't help worrying for their health and safety.

So far SG hasn't got any case, PRAY it stays that way with all the precautions we're taking against it.

Take care everyone, and DO TAKE precautions...whatever they are and no matter how much work it is... Best to get prepared for it.
