Water can really wash away the exhaustion, makes one feels refresh, clear one's thoughts, cool one's mind. A thought occured to be while I was being drenched in water. The timing was right with 2009 coming to an end very soon and 2010 will be in its place the following day. I wish that 2010 would be just as a good year as 2009 was, or if possible, even better.2009 really held a much more special meaning than any other year for me. For a few reasons (rankings do not matter):1. I turned 21, officially stepping into the adulthood.2. My 21st birthday was celebrated 4 times!3. I reunite with a very good friend of mine after a long separation... which bring about no. 4...4. I fell in love with him (and still very much in love though right now we can't be nothing more than best friend because of how the world works). I never thought it would be possible, but that's love for you. If there is an explanation to it, it's not love. :)) But it was magical and I'm glad that happened to the both of us even though it drives us to corners and break us down.5. I took a trip to Malacca with a group of friends on my own, not with my family.6. I started Wheelock College, a place where I've been dreaming of going since Year 1.7. I started my part-time tuition work at HUA where I'm being treated as part of the staff family though I was only part-time.8. I lost my beloved black jacket (before my current gray one).9. I got my own camera! An IXUS120 CANON!
Quite a list huh.... :))
Since the new year is coming, let's see... New Year's Resolution? I've never thought much about my New Year Resolution for the past 20years of my life (10+ years if you minus away my childhood days when I didn't know about such thing as 'new year resolution) Hehehe ;)
But... Because 2009 holds such dear memories for me, I decided, "Hey, why not start thinking about New Year Resolution?"
My New Year's Resolutions.. A rather short list I think:
1. Learn German! I'm about 20% there? I can speak a few words and get simple words by listening and recognizing some text. But I still have a long way to go to reading sentences, writing sentences and conversing in German.
2. SAVE $. Okay, been doing that even without NYR, but maybe even more so in the upcoming year... Imagine Boston & My plan to go Europe... *whistle*.
3. This one is rather silly, and inspired by my Wheelock buddies... I shall start having a wishlist. :p
Good health, good wealth, good luck, good everything for everyone I know and love all around the world... This isn't a New Year Resolution, because it's an OBLIGATION, a COMPULSARY, a NEED every second, every minute, every hour, every day, afternoon, night, every week, every month, EVERY YEAR! :D
As of this very moment, all I'm thinking is that I want to cross over to the New Year with Mac... That's all I want, that's all I can ask for with things and people working against us. I'm going to make it happen...... I just pray my last wish of 2009 will come true *looks into the night sky into the twinkling star that is always at that position*~
