Suddenly it seems so close from the actual date. Actually it IS close. After pining for a long time, finally it's arrived...... The Big G: GRADUATION~

It really felt like yesterday when I first stepped foot into NP's main gate for my first day of orientation, seated in the convention centre's audithorium with a bunch of other 100+ freshmen & freshwomen like myself. Rushing projs, rushing deadlines, having fun in & out of classes, doing class projs, assignments, even the exams!

LOL.... I'm so getting all these back in matters of months. *Gasp*

And then, it sounds cliche to say it but still... Time flies in a blink of an eye. Suddenly I'm counting down to graduation date, collecting graduation gown, coordinating my wardrobe, celebrating with my friends, and getting that well-deserved & along-awaiting certificate! ^_^ I couldn't be happier!

And the next thing I know, I'll be starting college in June. Gosh, there'll be so many things that I'll miss once school starts.
To name a few:
- Time spent with my friends (even though I still see some of them when college begins)
- Time spent on SL (that could actually be a blessing considering how distracting it was to me
- Time spent on FB (this could be a problem esp at night)
- Celebrating birthdays (I'm so gonna miss many gatherings and parties and whatsoever due to the cramped and intensive year 1 of college - info that I've gathered from my friends-seniors).

But I know some things will not change. Indefinately.
- Friendship I have (they will only grow stronger, even with the ones that I will not meet up often) =] True friendship, just like true love, can withstand the test of time, as well as distance.
- My time spent on MSN (I think most assignments and discussions WILL be happening on there LOL! ;) )
-My priorities, indefinately. Iknow what's impt to me, what's my needs and what's my wants. Big year for me, hahhaa..so I guess more mature than before. No more hanky-panky. ROFL! :D

I have to get ingedients for my cheese cake :p Time to hit Cold Storage =D

After SA, I practically lost my voice. Hahahah.... Cos the previous sore throat wasn't totally cured. And I still sang karaoke! :p I think this is the boldest move I've made.... singing when my voice is hoarse. But it was still fun. Could be better with a better voice but I managed to hit the notes, so I'm glad... Just very limited in terms of pitches - So I sang guys' songs instead of ladies..... ROFL! =D

Outing with Sharon, Hannie and ZQ was cool... It'll be a long time before we can meet up (Not counting graduation ceremony). Sakae for dinner.... It was fun, with loads of pics taken (not using my cam). Felt weird w/o my cam with me for outings... Hahahhaa! ;)

Going to Star Awards in person & sitting at home watching the tv was 2 different experiences and 2 different feelings. 1st, when you're there in person, you can really feel the tension (unspoken and invisible) all around the artists and even the fans :p and 2nd, when you're over there, you have this urge to cheer and not hold back when it comes to the appropriate time to cheer. You can't do that at home. Hehehes XD

I was really glad that Jeanette won Top 10. We were so nervous for her and with her! Why do they have to put her name till last? Can't they see how stressed it was for her? When she went onto the stage she was in some stage of shock... It was a relief for ALL of us present that her name was annouced for the Top 10! ^.^

The celebration with her after the event was like a cherry on top! Yeah, we gotta wait for awhile for her but it was all worth it! ;) Sparkling juices, chocolate cakes, laughter, words, smiles, photographs...... AW-some! :) She was really happy that we went there and rooted for her, and she acknowledged all of our cheers (she actually looked up and waved & smiled at us)! :D

Really loved the Jeanius club tee! Designed by our princess and it was really something when all of us wore the same top when we celebrated with her at the end @ around 11.30pm XD The design was simple and the colours schemes was good. I can really see myself wearing it as casual or even to school. Proud to be a Jeanius, and proud to wear the polo dri-fit club tee! =D

Whew! After 2 days of boards making, WE'RE FINALLY DONE! Looking at the final products really made us felt so proud and satisfied and contented and proud! It was amazing......

1st round was at the airport(Thurs), which we made from evening till night. And with a lil surprise during dinner time! ^_^ (Jeanius secret). It really made us felt appreciated and it WAS a surprise! =D

Round 2 was done at my house today(Sat), and it was mainly the BIG board. 6 of us we made it after dinner all the way to about 10+pm. AND WE'RE SOOOO DONE! =D Looking at that big board, the final product really made our effort worthwhile! :) I dont think anybody can relate how the 6 of us felt in the end!

Happy thing, tml is Star Awards, and only a selected few can attend. :) Can't wait for it!

No work today, and I ended up waking up automatically at 7+am =.= SHEESH!!! My biological clock isn't giving me more time catching up on the Zs! Maybe being woke up by Dad at 6am has gt something to do with it, even with the early turn-in the night before...

After a week at LSH work, I'm back to being housed. No complaints there...... I really want ths break before college starts... Told them I'll drop by on Fri to help them out again, but then received a msg from a friend that something's gg on on Thurs and needed my involvement. And seriously, I WANT TO BE INVOLVED!

But then I have lesson on Thurs, which I'm really considering to change to Fri so I can make itfor both. I don't wan to miss my lesson, no way! Not when I'm so nailing that piece of music I'm learning right now~ But then Fri I have to stand in for LSH for 1 more day. So right now I'm like stuck in btw...Which isn't as easy as you think...

I need a 2nd opinion on this issue: Y! =)

It was fun, finally meeting up with Miki & Hui @ Vivo. It was a mission trip for us. Mission 1: Get Viv's birthday present. Mission 2: Meet up and have a great time. Mission 3: Get some sweets for my sweet (my mission). And I can proudly say, "MISSIONS ACCOMPLISHED!"

We were really being tourists today, kinda fun. We all missed eating hokkien 'hey' mee (fried prawn noodles) so we ate that for lunch after meeting up @ Vivo. It was a last-minute decision to get ice-cream @ Sentosa, and that idea totally intrigued all of us. So we didnt get any drinks but headed for Sentosa for some Ben & Jerry ice-cream. YUM~ But before that, we shopped around for Viv's birthday present and came upon a really nice one, which was shared among 4...so not too bad. =)

So...next stop: SENTOSA! It was fun! FUn!! FUN!!! No doubt HOT HOT HOT! Took alot of silly shots, and we behaved like we've nv been to Sentosa for our whole lives.. hehehes :p It was really good to let down one's hair with close friends and just goof around and have a great time. I mean, literally letting down the hair. Lols... forgot to bring the clip to clip up my hair. Hehehes :p

Anyway.. after that went back to Vivo and brought some sweets for my sweet, with the help from Miki and Hui. I'm totally risking it, getting chocolates & sweets... Hopefully they won't melt :p Hahahahahhaha, it'll be really bad if the chocolates melted, so I TRULY hope not!

Overall it was fun, really great. Phew... tired though, and I'm so glad that my voice is returning :) Tml last day of work I HAVE to go back and see my kids and my darling boy for one last time...:)

What is it like to re live your life again? That.... is an excellent question. "17 again" tells a story of a man who had the 2nd chance in life to take another path or choose back the same path? Gotta see the movie to know it ;)

It's a great movie, and I've been deprived of movies since like ever. Wanted to catch it next week when my work is done, but then my aunt suggested I catch it with them tonight, which I did. :) It was really fun!

Romantic comedy, I'll categorized it under... 2 of my favourite things together: Romance, and laughter. It's for anybody actually.... regardless of movie preference or whatsoever. Even my uncle who doesn't watch such show said it was pretty good. ^.^

It'll be great to catch it with somebody you love :) And if you're not catching it with someone you love, you'll think of that somebody when you watch the show.. Heheehes =) Either way, it's a good movie to catch, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind watching it again for the 2nd time. What can I say? I melt for romance ;)

I'm so dead... So very dead... My voice is so low and raspy and scratchy. :(

How the heck am I supposed to teach 2hr tuition class that requires me to speak for 2hrs straight w/o any breaks?

Stay at home from my relief work today(Fri), so I could go for my work tml(Sat). Dang! I feel so guilty... they needed teachers that why they asked for my assistance, and now I'm not there to assist, it'll be a lack of manpower for them. =.=

I realized my body immune system isn't working at its best.. Could be lagging behind since my hols starts and my late night life began...

Well, there's always a bright side to everything. I wondered how bad my week could be, and it turned out okay (cos of yst night lil chat on FB) ^.^ Can't wait for the weekends to be here again :)

I can't believe I'm sleeping earlier and earlier every day.. Wait, actually, I CAN Believe! Try taking on the children (2-3yrs old) for the entire day w/o a break. Morning-downstairs 8.30 till 1, then Afternoon-upstairs from 1-4, and back downstairs till 5. Whew!

Im so tired...I could probably collasped on my bed w/o dinner everynight and just sleep through till the next morning. =.- Sheesh.... I really need my sleep.

I've been counting down to 20th April night time when I can finally go on SL and meet up my friend(s), but on second thought, I'm gonna use 20th April to REALLY sleep and be only back on SL on 21st April night...

I totally love my work! HAHAHAHHA~ Totally random right? After whining I suddenly said I love it. LOL... Love it cos of my kids and my darling boy, never fail to include me in his activities (nap, gg to take water bottle, playing with his cars and buses etc.) I guess I couldn't get through my days without knowing that I get to see him every day *hope i dont jinx it*

Bad thing about air-conditioned places, when one gets sick, everyone else get sick. =.=lll No good ventilation so the germs are all contained. Kinda creepy thought actually. Rach got it bad, and I feel I'm getting it too. Seems like something's stuck in my throat and my voice is a lil off (I didnt really teach much), so it's weird. Sigh...

It really was exhausting... to go on for the whole day w/o getting some shut-eyes...... Lack of ppl, so I actually went upstairs for the whole day. Only came down for lunch and for a short break(which wasn't much of a break cos' gotta look after some half-day kids). Completely no shut-eyes time! WHEW!

Good news was that though the time spent downstairs were short, they were amazing...cos my of darling boy & the rest of my kids(K1 now)^.^ When I'm upstairs, hm.... it's pretty good too, just a lil rush in terms of their schedules, and I wasn't familiar with the children (Nv seen them till this morning). Still much more used to it downstairs. The only time i really closed my eyes was at the end of the whole day while waiting for the bus timing. LOL! *yawns*

My spirits were totally lifted when I checked my FB inbox. ^_^ Which was surprisingly amazing, the reaction to a short message can do to me. Still tired and exhausted and sleepy. Gotta turn in early for the rest of the week.. Hehehes...

Wonders how I'm gonna get through the rest of the week w/o Y..... hehs :p

Monday... my supposed 'break day' before that 1 week of relief. Not too bad actually :) It got bette when it was at the end of the day.. Yeah yeah, that's awful, if time crawls in front for me and only sped up when it's near the end. But, *shrug* I can't do anything about it. The people downstairs are much more fun than the ones upstairs, so time really sped up for me when I was back downstairs...

Tml is the start of my real work, hm.... I can handle, not too bad. I can see my kids again, and am working once again along-side with my great friend and mentor even if we're in different class ^.^ Going back there ain't a chore, it's what I chose to do, and I'm still sticking by my choice. =) Good thing I had prepared for my Sat lesson, so I can truly focused on the upcoming lessons I'm gonna teach in LSH~

Caught completely off-guard! A call at night and suddenly.. WOOSH! Not Tuesday start work but MONDAY!

Not that I don't like going back there, but it was completely a shock to me. I'm not mentally prepared yet!!! *screaming inside* Mon was supposed for me to relax and be prepared for it. Nothing much to prep, i gotta admit :( But still.... It's different teaching a class of 4 Pri6 students and a class of 10+ of kids. Besides, I'm sooo losing my touch in that area for a few months, needed to get my momentum back!

And I need to get stuff done for my another job (Saturday Tuition). -.= So finally told the T.I.C I'll drop by in the afternoon, cos morning ain't gonna happen for me. I NEED to set aside some time for my prep work... Right?

Not cos' I've got another job (even just temp) means that I've gotta forget abt my previous one.

Not gonna happen for me~

I'm still in a bit of a shock, needed a medium to get this off my chest........ Thankfully for blogger!

Went out with my whole family today..It was cool. First to 'visit' (pray) my gramps in the temple, then we went for lunch. Mmmmmmmmm! It's been AGES since I've last ate "Meat Bone Tea" XD Reminded me of the time when a customer came to the Teahouse(when i was still working there) and asked for directions to buy 'Meat Bone Tea'. Actually, it's just Bak Kut Teh (Pork Soup with Tea?). ^.<

It's a delicacy in Singapore. Hm, how should I describe it? It's actually soup, nothing to do with Tea. Pork soup? With loads of pepper and spices to make it extra peppery and firey - Which makes it so addictive and nice! To me, the more peppery it is, the better it tastes. It comes with side dishes, like veg, peanuts, diff parts of the pork and...Tea. That's where the "Tea" in "Bak Kut Teh" comes in... Cos it goes well with tea. Today, I became the brewer for my family (with my background in brewing Chinese Tea) ^.^ It was fun!

Mmmmm.... Great place Dad! Have to really go back there again. ;)

Whew...what a day.... Spent the entire day w/o touching the lappy. Proud of it, of course. I'm not kidding when I say I think I'm a computer addict. It's a good thing I can just stop it whenever i want (sometimes) ;)

15mins of jog and 15mins of brisk walk..that's all my knees can handle... Whew, worked up quite a sweat. Not too shabby, until I hit my elbow on the metal towel rack in my bathroom. OW! Accidentally of course, but it was so hard(was standing too near to that thing!) Gotten quite a bruise there, and now it's so hard to lift my arm or even exert strength or even TOUCH that spot. =.=lll

Bright side to all of these pain, is that I GET TO HEAR LOUIS PLAY AGAIN! ^_^ WOW...Talk about LONG TIME.... And it's both classical and jazz songs from the man himself, straight life from NYC, streamed into SL. Boy, am I glad I logged on on Friday night. Hm...time check: 11.20pm.

Hearing those songs, just chilling in my room really takes the pain away, cos I try not to move my left arm too much. Typing I can still handle ;) Great, actually..... 1 hr of Louis Landon (aka Louis Volare in Second Life) before bed. It's like bedtime songs =D

It's great to finally be able to return to LSH as a teacher, even if it's only for a week...... It felt really weird for me to stay there too long since I don't work there anymore. But still, I dropped by. Hm.......

Of course, going back there to work means I need to get my original schedule back on track. SL totally changed it for me when I woke up at 10+am and went to bed at 3+am. LOLZ! But, I'm not complaining. ^.^ And the nearing Easter really helped in this plan of mine; I call it: Revert Sleeping Schedules. Hahahahahs >.<>

Bad side of this whole reverting of schedules... I'm SO gonna miss SL :( It's really a long break, well.... not that long if you consider the times I stopped SL, but still, it's really LONG since I've returned. And I'm so gonna miss Y =( The feeling's mutual.

Well... I'll have the stars and the moon as my company every single night until it's finally time for me to return back to the abnormal schedules. Hehehehehs ;)

I wouldn't mind the extra income for the month of April, which is good cos Star Awards is round the corner and I need like to make a few calls to support Jeanette Aw! ^_^ Of course... That's not the ONLY reason. It'll be great for me to save up, if I want to travel to Europe in the future, or send things across the ocean =]

Speaking of sending things.... Reminds me of chocolates and sweets... I need to find some local sweets & check out some postage costs.

AMAZING toy figurines from Precious Moments... I think Mom's a lil obsessed?? She brought quite a few...within a few months...

Bt I just LOVE those figurines~ So, gonna save up, scrimped my every meal(but still be full) and get one like maybe every 2 months or something.... Build up a collection. ^_^ Loving the snow globes, I reckon, might as well get something really decent and exquisit :)

Played FB... until i ran out of things to do on FB....

Played SL...well, can't say I ran out of things to do on SL...

Facing my pc is like mandatory for me nowadays....even when I'm not using, I still need to have it on in front of me! =.=lll Like today when I was prep for my class next week. I totally just ignored my SL and WMP and MSN. But lucky I went to SL... =) Really lucky~

Hm...speaking of prep for my class.. Brain juice seriously running low. Lucky I have my dad, supplying ideas of games... And my older children, when i ask for their opinions and suggestions, plus other games i've seen or played before.. I think I'm well covered! ^^

"I'm only me when I'm with you"...Amazing song by Taylor Swift. Actually all her songs are amazing.

One of the best singers; writes her own songs, and sings them. :) Sweet! Most of my songs are towards her direction - own compositions and reflects the life around me, just with a twist of my own personality in it.

This is my favourite song because right now it speaks to me, the lyrics rang true! I think it's really important to do what that song title says...In a way, 'Just be yourself'. But not many can do that, in front of friends and family. Somehow or rather, there are some secrets or hidden side of humanity within ourselves that only we ourselves know it. For example, one can be wild in front of his/her friends but deep inside he/she may be really serious and wise and not as wild as he/she depicts herself to be. And also vice versa.

So to truly find someone to let ourselves to be just ourselves, it's not an easy feat. Thus I believe that if we ever find someone like that, who knows all sides of ourselves, we should really treasure that person. Even the shortest amount of time can bring about the greatest and longest lasting memories.

Someone that precious could be lost someday, but to me, I think it's better to have and lost, than not to have at all... =)
