I love Day One of Lunar New Year!!! Why? Cos I get to get ALOT of 'Ang Baos'..Hhahas!! That's one reason. Another reason was that I get to gather together with my cousins and uncles and aunts that I hardly see over the year. Lunar New Year is one day we get to come together as a family to celebrate, to eat, to laugh, to enjoy, to play mahjong, to play games with.YiHong n YiJun brought their newly bought game: Game of Life. We loved this game cos once while I was treating them to 'Craving Thoughts', we spent abt an hour there just playing this game. Of course, the set over at there was incomplete. Imagine how many pairs of hands had been handling that set of stuffs.We brought poker cards and our mini mahjong. But we din touched the mini mahjong. Cos we were the first family there, so we had one or 2 rounds of the big mahjong before the rests arrived. We were like, wanting to play mahjong, but we just couldn't find the time or chance. Cos the table that we wanted was occupied, and that we had to choose btw "Game of Life" and "Mahjong".It was fun, seeing the little children. I ordered KFC earlier that day, and when it came, my 3rd uncle was asking me how much was it. I ordered 7 sets of the prosperity meal, and then I distinctively heard "$75.60" over the phone... So that's what i told my uncle before he went to pay. But it turns out, either I had heard it wrongly or that person told me the wrong price.I'd settle for the 2nd one, but it couldnt b since all 7 sets came to my grams house at precisely around 6pm(the time that i ordered)... so that means that I had heard it wrongly... 100 Bucks different! Oops.We played and had alot of fun.. There's this 2 sisters... Surprisingly with myas an ECH teacher, I couldnt bond with the younger one(3 yrs old).. But I bonded with the elder sister(7 years old)... Hm... Hehehes.. pretty cool... at least my affinity with children doesn't only settle for the younger ones... :DThen once everyone had gone home, me and my 4 cousins took a 'cousin picture'. The other 3 cousins had gone home.And I TOTALLY DESPISE THOSE PEOPLE WHO TREAT THEIR FAMILY MEMBER WORSE THAN STRANGERS!!!!!! I mean, if you're heading home, SURELY you'll gather up your family members before heading out of the door right???? Frigging b**** Can't say who she is, and I'm ashamed that I share a bond with her! Didn't tell my cuz that they're heading home!!!! My ldest cuz was so embarassed when he came out from behind the house and was surprised to find his family members gone....IN FRONT OF THE GUESTS!!!!!!!!! SHEESH! Thank god I dun have a mother like that! Thank god I swear that I will NEVER DO THAT TO MY OWN CHILDREN!
