Spent the past 3days reading 'Gravity', one of Tess Gerritsen's books(one of her earlier works)... And i was thoroughly enjoying myself on these 3 days. It was a book that I couldnt put down but had to.Being skilled in the medical area, Tess managed to be VERY detailed in her story, and also, it can be shown in 'Gravity' that she took a great deal of doing researches about Space and Astranauts... At first I wasnt really into the story, because it was just the beginning of the whole book. But the further I read, the more I became glued to the story. Somewhere around 1/4 of the book I seemed to have an attachment with this book, this story. I couldnt get it out of my head even if I'd put down the book. Wanting to know what's the ending? How did it end? What happened to the main characters?I was REALLY tempting to skip to the last few pages, but I din do it. Because I know I'll be missing alot of curcial points on how the story was built up. I'd made sure I read every single word, every sentence, every dialogue in this storybook, HOW COULD I WASTE WHAT IVE DONE SO FAR? So I made sure I din miss out a thing...The ending was really great... Towards the end as the characters realised what they were dealing with, I had goosebumps a few times.... Within that few chapters(2-3). Tears were in my eyes at one point. I pictured myself in that character's shoes and that really hit the 'tears glands'. Somehow I could imagine the pain she was going through...Really great story, come to think of it, all of Tess' works are great...Looking forward to getting my hands on her latest medical thriller: The Bone Garden.I was never interested in medical thrillers..I never thought I would be too. But the ironic part is that I currenly own 4 books of Tess which are medical thrillers, and a few others(esp: ''The Surgeon'' , ''TheApprentice'' , ''The Sinner" , ''Body Double''...because of the deceased and killing and autopsy...) which medical plays a part in the story. Right now...I'll be getting the 5th one soon...Very soon.
