Today's weather report: HOT AND HUMID AND SIZZLING SPICY! HOT ENOUGH TO FRY A EGG UNDER THE HOT SUN!Phew, I was sweating like mad when I arrived at Yishun MRT Platform, and i was wearing my newly bought sleeveless sports vest. Well, ok, the vest wasn't very thin in terms of the materials, but it was sleeveless!On my walk to Yishun stadium, same story: Very Hot, Sweating Like Crazy, as if I'm a popsicle melting under the heat. Man, the radiation is bad for my skin... So's the heat :P Met Xinyi at Kathib MRT station n we walked there to meet Adel.Once inside the stadium, things didn't get better...actually, it got worse... Well, badminton court mah, so it's like enclosed and really stuffy, with the scent of the sweat n rubber as ur company...Lolz. We reached there early, and we waited n waited n waited...while chatting with one another until there's a court free for us.We played, 2 against 1, den someone else came to our court and we played 2 on 2, with that guy n adel as a pair and me n miki as a pair... Gosh, that guy was pro lor... We played and played and played... Den it was like after that that guy n miki paired up to go against me n adel. Lolz.... Learnt afew things, which i DID learn when i was having badminton as my sports n wellness elective...Lolz :) The guy said the same thing as my coach: Taking big steps when going forward to catch the ball, and run back to prepare for the high ball, dun stop running on the spot, racket above waist level ecetra ecetra ecetra...After the game my legs were so sore, not the arms, the legs..esp my toes... Gosh, cos i was always on my toes(literally!) My arms were sore from the gym but wasn't sore from the game, though i sweat more than i did when i was in the gym n when the time was shorter than that of gym. I guess the air-con plays a part. Seriously, playing badminton in air-con room is really awesome! I tried that at home with my sis(The ceiling of our place is high, esp the living room ^_^) Anyway, it was amazing, just to get together to play a game of badminton with my frenz after putting my racket aside for like half a year or so... I was playing with a purple hand for the 1st time! Lolz..... gosh, but at least my wrist wasn't aching cos i wasn't used to Miki's racket(we exchanged)... Srry miki, but ur racket was way too heavy n hard to use for me....Lol, after that we went for lunch, Hai Nan chicken rice, it was de-li-cious!! Yummy!!! Hahahas.... I have this "thing" for Hai Nan Chicken Rice...probably cos of my heritage. This chicken rice can go fight with "Nan Ji Chicken Rice at Thomson"..... Lolz :DThen went with Adel to get her ears pierced and we made our next date: Bowling date...and gt a nagging from the 2 of them... =.-lll Cos i refused to play bowling but only go there be cheerleader... Lolz.... O Well, I still wun play, even if i'm showered with their words n all... Nt that i dun wanna play, it's cos I juz dun like bowling..nt my kind of sports. I'm more into badminton, basketball, ice-skating(^_^), but certainly not bowling! Srry guys.It was fun afternoon with them, walked around cold storage to de-heat ourselves, mainly Miki. But i was so sad...i missed Louis' concert today at the Pyramid in SL...Not the real pyramid, fyi.
Just before i went out i went for Kori Travanti's concert.... at an open-air pavallion. :) Her music was good, really good. I love the both of them, but cos i've been exposed to Louis' music more, so naturally I love him and his music more, but Kori is just as good.. She's really talented in both the keyboard and the piano. Different things, fyi again...according to the game lol... keyboard is organ and piano is piano.Lolz...Her music was amazing n really refreshing, just like Louis' music... louis music is more of the easy listening at night, before bed or hen ur really stressed out, as a form of relaxation. For kori, her music is refreshing and slightly upbeat so u can listen it anytime anywhere.. but if ur really stressed out, louis' music will be better, for me.But i told Louis i would be missing his concert today :'( But will still tip him, so i did, just before i went out. :) I kept to my promise, and man, i'm gonna make next wk free of anything in the weekdays so i can attend his concerts and more throughout the whole week(monday-friday)...Muahahahahaha :D:D
