Tonight was my 1st and hopefully my last outdoor event in the middle of the night, standing on a wet, wet grass field. My dad.. brought my sis and I to Hougang tonight to attend an outdoor speech. We went, out of no choice.. Got forced, cos 2 adults urged us to go, since mom's going out with maid, and if we stayed at hm.. no dinner! So out of no choice, we followed to Hougang. B4 that, I downed 2 bowls of cereal.. cos i had a really light lunch, so by 4, my stomach was growling like mad.Then my dinner was Chicken Rice.. Hong Kong Roasted! Yummy... I love Hong Kong Cusines!Shared 2 plates with my sis and dad, plus satay.. Was bloated after the dinner. Then we walked ALL e way to the outdoor event.. Hailing Taxis as we walked along... Missed 2 taxis and we were like "-.- OMG! There goes one!" By the time we missed the 2nd one, we gave up hailing taxis, so we juz walked... Treated it as a after-meal exercise. I do need some slimming, I did slim down after going to NP, eveyday climb hill to hill, storey to storey, block to block. ^.^So happy! Nid to continue to slim down... So really glad when i slimmed down slightly than before.When we were there, we walked onto a really really really disguesting big field!Wet big field.. I was trying to balance myself while stepping across the field, and trying not to dirty my jeans. I couldnt take it, so i juz fished out my mp3 player and listened to the songs.. Songs that i once download, songs taht Xinyi sent me, songs that Randy sent me and songs that i juz downloaded juz before we went out. While we were walking, my sis was like "I'm starting to regret coming". And i was like "I already regreted when we steped out of the house". Cos i forgot to bring water bottle for the 1st time in my life!!! And i had ulcer, and thirsty, and tired. And i gotta do a H.W whch I've got exactly no clue on how to start on... :XAt the event, I hardly listened to what the speakers were talking about. All along i was listening to my mp3 songs and doing my homework away from home, while feeding the flies. Haha... So i stood there with my sis(who also lsitened to her mp3 player), and we were like swipping the flies occasionally off our feet, arms and shirts. And for that 2 hrs, I finally got my HW done.. well, the basic only, cos that's all can think of in that short amt of time feding flies in an open field. If i were to stay in an air-con room and think of it, probably will b slightly better. I have a knack in writing songs lyrics, which turns out to b poems sometimes. But tonight, totally no inspiration! So if I'm able to write something out of nth at all, it's pretty gd a job well done already. ;PWe finally couldn't stand the outdoor speech any longer,a nd our dad brought us back hm. Thank god!!! Haha, I was really elated to go back home away from the invading team of flies which somehow got particularly interested in ME! So really glad to go back hm. Dad was like kept on asking "how do u feel?" all the way from the field back to the car and then back home. Haha.. he never rests! Anyway, today was pretty good.. finished up my HW(I supposed)... but like kept on being disturbed by the flies invasion squad... Gosh! But, my night wasn't boring at all thanks to those songs! Hehe. To be honest, this hopefully will b the last outdoor speechi ever attend to in my life again! ;P
