Yesterday I dropped by Esplanade to visit Shao Ling Jie... Then I heard from her a terrible news... She's leaving Teahouse... :'(:'(:'(:'( The main reason i went there was to let her teach me how to brew a gd pot of Ji2 Pin3 Dong4 Ding3 Wu1 Long2, cos I can't brew out the suppose-to-have orchid scent when I was at Taka, so she offered to teach me how to. Turns out that she said I can't brew out the original scent and flavour of the tea was due to a several reasons:
1. Water Temp nt high Enough.
2. Nt enough tealeaves added.
3. I din't soak very long for a long time(I wasn't used to soaking for more than 30 secs).

Then i tried her method, and i got the scent. It was so strong that she stood at the entrance and still could smell the aroma from the table which was abt 5 ft away. I DID IT! Then while we were testing a new kind of Pu Er Tea, someone came to interview, so we kept on brewing the 2 types of Pu Er ourselves. And we chatted... then she asked me to buy the Pu Er(1 type which we tried when Uncle Jeremy came and brew for us). Tis Pu Er, though only 1 yr old, but it's worth keeping, cos it's very very very nice... Yummy... I bought it at a 40% discount. It was all worthwhile.

Sad news is that Shao Ling Jie leaving us :'( But... gd news, WH Might be joining me... YAY!!! :D
