Oo.. yesterday went to Teahouse branch at Esplanade... that day was teh best day of my life! Over there, it's total relaxation and total freedom, nt like Taka...At Esplanade, can guang ming zhen da de eat and drink...Even face the entrance eat and drink also no one notices ur weird behaviour. Me ans Shao Ling Jie were enjoying ourselves there.She taught me how to brew tea, i tried 2 types of tea, one is Chun Yu Xiao(Taiwan Oolong) and the other one is Te Ji Qi Hong(Red Tea which has the scent and taste of sugarless almond paste). I succeeded in both, juz that the Red Tea.. Think something wrong wif me... Suppose to have the almond taste the strongest at the 2nd and 3rd time... Mine is 1st time, okok, juz a bit bland. 2nd time's the best out of the 4 times. When it comes to the 3rd time, the taste like no more le... 4th time gen bu yong jiang... tasted like the 1st time.. Then there's this customer Mdm Rose she had reserved a whole Swan Teaset and suppose to collect it today from my uncle. Then my uncle gone le woah... then left me and Shao Ling Jie... kept on telling her my uncle nt around, cant see her personally, but he told us wat to do.. blah blah blah. She nv listened! Lucky got a customer came in, so Shao Ling Jie go serve the customer(he wanted teaset, and I'mgd at selling tealeaves over sets). So, I chatted with Mdm Rose and told her wad my uncle said in details and watsoever. Then, finally, she agreed to pay for it. Phew.. lemme tell u, old folks r very very naggy, u had to put up with them. She finaly agreed to pay for it and we had specially reserved it for her.Cos we first told her if she din collect it today(on Wed), then we're selling it on Thurs. That was cos she din pay for it. And she was like nagging and nagging and said she'll sue my uncle if he dare to sell the set when she told him that she wanted the set very badly... -.-But when she paid for it, the whole story changed. Lucky I persuaded her to pay for it and we keep it safe for her. She was so afraid to lose the wholse set cos she was like, "Don't sell it! I've told Eric i wanted this set and he reserved it for me."The I was like, "Yes, my uncle told me that u'll b coming today to collect and pay for the set."She was like, "If I pay, u make sure Eric dun sell it or I'm going t sue him to court!"Then I was like,"If you already paid for it, I can guarentee u that this set belngs to u. If Eric sells it, I help u sue him." That kinda put the smile on her face... Biah man.. really naggy. Cos during our dinner time, she called the teahouse to make sure we din sell the set and we had helped her packed it up nicely... Shao Ling Jie was like,"FW, maybe ur uncle know she's so naggy, that's y he dun want to see her...." Haha, yesterday was fun fun fun!!!5 things diff abt working at Esplanade and at Taka:1. No one restricts u to drinking or eating anything. At Taka, drink nid to squad down, cant eat in the shop.2. Dun have to worry abt sales target, unlike Taka.3. Total freedom and relaxation. Can sit all day and no one cares abt u, unlike Taka, stand all day.4. Dun have manager entering ur shop and askng "how's the sales today?" Cos we're the boss!! Muhahaha.5. Taka there's nt enough space to actually sit down and brew tea unlike Esplanade, got this long table where everything is there on and under the table and u can brew tea using the traditional teapot and nt the "3-in-1 piao yi cup".See how much fun it's to work at Esplanade? No wonder Jing Chun Sis and Annie Sis always said wished they can go to Esplanade. Hehe...
